CINOs (Capitalists in Name Only)

Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1% | Society | Vanity Fair. This is an amazing analysis of the plight of the poor and middle-class. What surprises me is that no politician in the U. S. has been able to tap into the obvious potential in class warfare. What disappoints me even more is that neo-liberals have not been appalled at the distortion that monopolies and interest groups have done to basic Adam Smith / capitalist theory. Competition – no thanks, please enshrine my monopoly / tax break in law. Market discipline – oh no, I’ll need a bailout for that.  Innovation – not over my dead copyright / patent body!

Capitalism is the best economic system possible – we should really try it.
