Pushed to fatalism

My favorite statistician, Nate Silver, looks at how bad the economy actually is. Yet those in the top brackets are spending on luxury goods. The truth about whether or not this bad and unfair economy will continue is often difficult to predict actually. Just like no one saw the recession coming, no one will likely see it turn around. On the other hand, we may finally turn to a “Roosevelt”.
