Endangered species – the conservative conservative

Bob Inglis was a member of the U. S. House of Representatives. In this editorial he criticizes a large part of the current “conservative” GOP. For him, conservatives rely on facts. They value individual initiative and free markets. For Inglis, dismissing the man made origins of climate change is a refusal to face facts and rely instead on “wishing”. Further, the only appropriate response to carbon-dioxide is a tax on it!

Just like you could almost get seduced by Bill Buckley’s intelligence, it’s nice to have someone present a real argument.
